It is "local" to me and it is a 35 minute drive to get there. My baable hat is in worsted on size seven and it turned out perfectly. If that helps. My favorite increase is to lift from below and twist the ladder and knit into it. You can twist to the left or right so that the increases mirror each other.karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252685705241032079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6044460309554891212.post-12695045736306981662015-12-11T18:12:53.096-05:002015-12-11T18:12:53.096-05:00Really enjoyed your Podcast! It was old stash with no labels so I cant really tell you. For the rest of it I am using Patons worsted wool. Now I used that same yarn last time and the hat came out too big and I have a pretty big head. This one I am following Susan B. Andersons instructions and I think it will fit better (this one is for my niece). You can find the modifications here: http://susanbanderson.blogspot.com/2015/10/modifications-and-tips-for-baa-ble-hat.htmlDonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09356062253076286093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6044460309554891212.post-48745598150656439552015-12-10T22:09:09.139-05:002015-12-10T22:09:09.139-05:00You're a peach. :) AND you reminded me about t...You're a peach. :) AND you reminded me about the M1L & M1R - I will have to mention it next week...Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16630143757071248406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6044460309554891212.post-40894019064228371812015-12-10T09:15:50.357-05:002015-12-10T09:15:50.357-05:00Wow, when I scrolled through I thought you had kni...Wow, when I scrolled through I thought you had knit all those beauties yourself! That's what I'll do..." Just finished and have to say you are such a natural behind the camera. Your Yarn Barn sounds like a treasure trove of not only yarn but also advice and help with projects. I knit a baby boy cardi last year and used the m1L and m1R increases every other row. Hope that helps!
Looking forward to next week. :)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14760735212107263086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6044460309554891212.post-69057206900894726422015-12-09T18:09:06.243-05:002015-12-09T18:09:06.243-05:00Amanda, I am just captivated by your podcasts. I am making a sweater with a crochet hook his time around. I am a very slow knitter and I am still learning. I am an avid sewer and now in teaching myself how to quilt. I understand about spending too much time online, since I deal with an unknown disease at this time, been online is becoming my way of visiting friends. :-).
The gift for your sister is just perfect and the book is something I would want to read to my daughter. Thanks dear lady for sharing.
