I've been ousted from my nest in the den by the Christmas tree, so this podcast has been relocated to the floor in front of the sofa - not half so comfortable as in the window with the birds, but there are worse things. The light in the video isn't very good at showing colors, so I have posted photos here for you to see as well. If you're not excited about listening to me ramble (and say 'um' more often than I am proud of) then just click the links below to get the gist. If you're here for the party, grab your knitting, your tea/coffee and stay a while. {My battery died at the end. Never fear, we will talk about books next week.}

I have plans to watch the podcast this afternoon, but wanted to say I love seeing all the pretty yarns in your photos. I have a pair of socks in that Paton's Sock yarn.
ReplyDeletePlanning to come back and watch while my kids nap this afternoon - looking forward to watching! :) I forgot to comment last time about the Jayne hat so I'll see what you say about it later. That is one of our favorite shows!
ReplyDeleteOh Amanda...what happened? I was watching your podcast and it ended but I am sure you were not meant to finish it yet :0) I just love everything that you are sharing...boy girl :0) you are busy! how do you keep track of all those projects? I just have three going at the moment, and I find that it is just enough :0) I pray that you are making a second one to go with this one... see you soon, happy knitting :D mari
ReplyDeleteMy battery ran out! I will pick up where I left off. :) Don't worry about that!
DeleteI saw your comment on IG and had to pop in and tell you thanks for the laugh. I was a blond for the first time ever last year for a wee bit after I cut 15 inches of my hair off when I decided to quit dyeing it [something I had been doing for 10 years]. Nope, not a blond, I was always a brunette with red highlights. Now I am salt and pepper and trying to grow my hair long again.
ReplyDeleteLove your yarn and your cards and christmas bird. Will come back and listen to the podcast tonight!
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed your chit chat! You kept me company while I made bobbles on a big chunky cowl! I got my swap package out one day late too and the person who had my name messaged me on Ravelry to let me know mine was a day or so late too - guess it's the theme! I love the stuff you're sending, what a lucky partner you have, those cards are darling. I handmade some polymer clay buttons to include in my little package, which was my first time ever working with clay! It was fun! I'll post pictures of it in my YA post next week!
ReplyDeleteLove you and your podcast, you're fun to listen and watch :) I hope we meet in real life one day cause I think we'd get along swimmingly. Thank you for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteFun to listen while I'm knitting on a cowl for my daughter for Christmas. I can't blog or IG about it 'cause she's always seeing what I'm up to... Too bad your battery ran out!!
ReplyDeleteI love my swap package - thanks for sending such a great assortment of goodies!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad! Thanks for letting me know it arrived. :)
Deleteyou are so cute! I love your comments about the bookmark making things more delightful, and about the aesthetics of things having such power. I get it. cheers!
